Somerset County Man Arrested After Club Shooting

SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa. — State police have taken a Stoystown man into custody following a late-night shooting incident outside the Cairnbrook Community Club.

Authorities say 42-year-old David Leipchack was arrested Saturday night after allegedly firing a handgun at a pickup truck as it was leaving the club’s parking lot. The shots were reportedly fired shortly after an altercation inside the building.

Police state that multiple rounds struck the vehicle, but the two people inside were not hurt. Leipchack was apprehended later that night and now faces charges including attempted homicide, along with additional related offenses.
